Paramedic Association of Canada National Occupational Skill Competency Profiles

The Paramedic Association of Canada (PAC) represents a professional organization of paramedicine practitioners across the country, which promotes collegiality and advocacy for the professional interests of paramedics.

The PACs National Occupational Skill Competency Profiles (NOCP) define the the minimum required competencies of Paramedics and Emergency Medical Responders within Canada. Competency Profiles have been established for Emergency Medical Responder (EMR), Primary Care Paramedic (PCP), Advanced Care Paramedic (ACP), and Critical Care Paramedic (CCP) practitioner levels.
