The creation and maintenance of a BCeID profile is an important aspect of preparing for your BC EMALB EMR Licensing evaluations, as well as accessing and completing the BC EMALB EMR Written and Jurisprudence exams. You will need to create either a "Basic" or "Personal" BCeID profile before requesting access to the EMALB exams. The "Basic" BCeID profile is a bit simpler and quicker to create, but the "Personal" BCeID offers more options as you progress through your EMALB exams and move into maintaining your EMALB EMR Licence. BCeID usernames that only contain lowercase letters may be less problematic than usernames with capital letters, for purposes of using the EMALB online learning system.
Once you've successfully created your Basic or Personal BCeID profile, you'll be able to request access to the Online Learning System to complete your EMR Written and Jurisprudence exams, and the EMACCS platform to document your Continuing Competence requirements once you actually receive your EMR Licence.
