As a professional Emergency Medical Repsonder or First Responder in British Columbia, you may encounter patients with Do Not Resuscitate Orders so you need to be familiar with what they can look like.
A valid Do Not Resuscitate Order will be signed by a Physician, and should be with the patient or present with their caregiver at all times. In the event that there is any doubt as to the Do Not Resuscitate Order's existence or validity the performance of CPR may still be required.
