EMALB First Responder Grading Criteria
Practical Evaluation criteria and forms, for Canadian Red Cross EMR Instructors and First Responder Instructors to utilize and refer to during BC EMALB First Responder Licensing Evaluations in Kelowna, BC. One of your duties as a Canadian Red Cross EMR Instructor or First Responder Instructor will be to conduct BC EMALB First Responder Licensing practical scenario Evaluations, and document your students' performance as complete/successful or incomplete/unsuccessful. Accurate, fair and consistent documentation of your students' First Responder skills is an important task, which allows them to eventually receive an EMALB First Responder Licence.
The EMALB First Responder Grading and Marking Criteria Guide gives you a solid understanding of the BC EMALB First Responder Scenario scoring system, and the EMALB First Responder Licensing Evaluation Checklist provides you with a consistent form to record the results of each Scenario. Although each Scenario and student will be unique, with unavoidably subjective components, these documents will provide you with a fair and structured method of grading them, in a way that is credible and defensible.
A PDF copy of the EMALB First Responder Scenario Marking & Grading Criteria guidelines will be provided to you during your Canadian Red Cross EMR Instructor (EMRI) or First Responder Instructor (FRI) training if conducted in British Columbia.
