Download the BC EMALB Policy Bulletin for Canadian Red Cross Professional Responder Instructors in Kelowna, BC.
Canadian Red Cross Emergency Medical Responder and First Responder courses are recognized by EMALB for Licensing eligibility in BC.
As a Canadian Red Cross Professional Responder you must be familiar with all the process, policies and procedures that accompany this recognition so that your EMR and First Responder course students can obtain an EMALB Licence in addition to Canadian Red Cross certification.
BC EMALB policies and processes for Canadian Red Cross EMR and First Responder courses include:
- Administration of EMALB written and practical evaluations
- Ensuring course evaluators are recognized by BC EMALB
- Submission of EMALB First Responder or EMR Licence Application forms
- Provision of EMR or certificate verification directly to EMALB through the Canadian Red Cross
If you do not complete and submit the appropriate EMALB and Canadian Red Cross paperwork with your EMR and First Responder courses, your students may not recieve an EMALB Licence.
