Canadian Red Cross First Aid certificate Application Forms for Emergency First Aid and Standard First Aid courses conducted in Kelowna, BC to meet WorkSafe BC Level 1 Occupational First Aid certification equivalency requirements.

Canadian Red Cross Emergency First Aid and Standard First Aid certificates are considered equivalent to Level 1 Occupational First Aid in accordance with WorkSafe BC. In order to secure this OFA equivalency, WorkSafe BC requires that Canadian Red Cross Instructors provide and collect First Aid Certification Application forms from all students when teaching Canadian Red Cross EFA and SFA courses in BC.

Once completed, the First Aid Certificate Application Forms do not need to be submitted directly to the Canadian Red Cross or WorkSafe BC, but they do need to be stored with all the other relevant course paperwork in accordance with Canadian Red Cross First Aid Program Standards.

The First Aid Certificate Application Form is only accessible through the First Aid Programs Tools section of your MyRC Profile, and is not required for any courses other than Canadian Red Cross Emergency First Aid, Standard First Aid and Marine First Aid taught in BC.

1. Login to your MyRC Profile
   (click here for instructions to activate your MyRC Profile, if you haven't already done so)
2. Select "Tools"
3. Select "First Aid Programs"
4. Select "BC Only - Workplace First Aid"
5. You will see a number of downloads and resources listed on the BC Only - Workplace First Aid page
6. Click the "Marketing Tools and Forms" dropdown menu on the page
7. Download the Registration and Application for BC Workplace First Aid Certification Form as located
