The Canadian Red Cross Fundamentals of Instruction First Aid Programs Workbook is a printed companion resource to the Fundamentals of Instruction - First Aid Programs Reference Guide, and provided to all Canadian Red Cross First Aid Program Instructor-Trainer course participants.
The Fundamentals of Instruction component and accompanying Workbook assignments provide a foundational reference for most of the Instructional principles and techniques that you will learn and apply as a Canadian Red Cross Instructor-Trainer, including self-reflection, lesson planning, standards and practices, classroom management, learner centered delivery, coaching, facilitation, evaluation and effective feedback.

How to Access & Download the Fundamentals of Instruction
After your Canadian Red Cross Instructor-Trainer course registration has been approved, your name will be added and uploaded to a corresponding course roster on the Canadian Red Cross MyRC platform.
This will activate your access to the Canadian Red Cross Fundamentals of Instructor Development guidebook through your online MyRC Profile at myrc.redcross.ca.
Click here for instructions on how to create your MyRC profile if you haven't done so already, then follow the steps below to access and download the Canadian Red Cross Fundamentals of Instructor Development - First Aid Programs guidebook.
- Create and/or login to your Canadian Red Cross MyRC Profile.
- Click the "Tools" tab
